When making SubjectsDerived I envisioned an entertainment analysis blog- scouring shows, movies, and ideas with more interesting components than that of my current life, not hard to do I'm afraid. Reason being is I, alongside many others love to feel. Emotions I'm talking about, of course- I definteley would'nt want to feel a porcupine's quil in my ass or the wrath of a skunk I mistook for the neighborhood cat, or a peta organization wondering why I keep getting into conflicts with random animals. Back to my point, the reason we watch and get that injection of emotional feeeling is becasue on some layer of ourselves we relate. A son dies in a movie, we all have had relatives pass, that reminds me of it and now I'm sad; but entertained.
In this blog I'll go over at least the week of this May 29th, I called 48 people who don't like me and one propsect called me and said I think I'll buy that thing you sell, the end. Not actually but more or less. A deeper dive would tell you I overslept work by up to 3 hours. A few hours later would tell you nobody really noticed, except a salty coworker who wasn't aware I was dreaming about marrying Gal Gadot.
When I look at my life, I attempt to see it on an angle to compare to the movies. Except sometimes the regular days are a depiciton too (oversleeping, cranky coworker, strangers that think I'm more annoying than their in laws).
Cheers To life,
Greg
